Years ago I saw Joseph W. Newman on the Johnny Carson show, and his animated explanations of the mechanical nature of magnetic phenomena got me started in the direction I'm going today. Mr. Newman's web site explores his understanding of magnetic characteristics and his method of extracting energy from same, and some of his other ideas, some of which I wouldn't include (Hey, it's his site!), but when he pointed out to me in his book "The Energy Machine of Joseph Newman" that magnetic flux arises from THE COIL, rather than from THE AMPERAGE in the coil, I was hooked (made sense to me)!

ASPS (Associazione Sviluppo Propulsione Spazaile) in Italy (this link is to their English menu). The site is a serious study in "Non Newtonian Propulsion", centered around the fact that action and reaction in a mechanical impact is not simultaneous, but separated in time. While initial velocity (or rest state) is returned to after completion of the entire impact reaction, the advanced position in space is retained, giving rise to factual explorations they are making and publishing with constructions, tests, and results.
These folks are as serious as I am casual, so be prepared to think! Now Here is an interesting site! A german team has found some interesting effects derived from an inertial gearing system they've developed, and appears to work as an exchange between spin momentum and tangential momentum of parts, and they say they've achieved over 250% efficiency! I've been translating using AltaVista's Babelfish, it works to some degree to help me furstehen! ;)
Now here is a most interesting site, Gyroscopes as Anti-Gravity Devices, a very well researched and heavily annotated examination of gyroscopic forces, with particular attention paid to forced precession (ala Professor Laithwaite and Sandy Kidd's experiments). Joao Andrade in Brazil has posted the world's first portugese translation (or any other language translation for that matter) of my gitplain.htm document. Joao invented (among other things) the CFA (Centrifugal Force Alleviator) improvement to my device, enabling high velocity thrusters of the geared variety, as well as ruled out my "SpiderGIT" device, and went further to test his successful pivoting arm torque test, which enabled a much better understanding of my device and the forces involved! Charles North's GIT pages cautiously explore the GIT from a mathmatic perspective in England. The analysis is a good exploration of the sum of centrifugal and tangential (it's zero of course), a good starting point for those that will want to analyze MY device (the spin torque exchange with the tangential needs to be done without a zero assumption as a starting point, subtracting from (or additive to) the net zero tug of war in the forward direction), but as far as it goes, a good exploration of the conic orbital path, and parts interaction. David Fox in Australia reports a successful land and water test of his GIT! The interesting thing in this report (getting many water tests now ;), is that his unit moved FASTER on water than on land, and to me an indication that friction was HINDERING, rather than helping! If it were unequal friction effects (the normal dismissal of IP in general), the land and water test results would have been reversed! See David Fox's web site at fortune city! Jean-Louis Naudin in France, an active researcher into many fields, has built a working GIT and published the video tests on the web.
His model is more like my original in that it has a "kicker" wheel, not in full contact with the orbital throughout the orbit, but rather a momentary impulse is added to a free rolling ball in a hollow toroidal race. This is the future of the GIT, in electromagnetic motor variants, DO visit and download the videos!

Charles Boehm's Space Drives page has a good study of different space drive concepts, and is the only one I know of that has actually tried the DST (Double Spin Torus) drive concept, preliminary testing of a partially built unit showed promising results (as reported to the IIC Group)!
