I've heard about this "water powered car" that made it's appearance in the U.S. somewhere before the great depression, perhaps even precipitating it!

Improbable, however possible ideas have intrigued me since awareness struck as an infant at an air base in my mother's arms. I distinctly remember wondering if the guy in the overalls sticking his head into the intake of a jet engine would get chopped up if it was running!

Watching the baggage cart snake was real fun, noticing the waves of carts following the guy at the wheel. Mom says I was under 1 year old, and should not have any recollection of my father's homecoming, but I do!

Since then I've had my eyes wide open, paying attention to anything new that came into view. The Water Powered Car is such a distraction, nudging it's way into my consciousness every now and again.

My mother's uncle, a citizen of the California parts of this country, recalled a story of his youth to me, about the 'water powered car'.

He told me that while living in the valley, the newspapers of the day, (no TV then...study and pay attention!), he read the story of a guy making his way up the state with nothing but water as a fuel!

Showing his smiling face to the camera, this brave soul drove the 'endothermic steam engine' from Los Angeles to Fresno. My uncle watched his arrival in Fresno and said after a while, during the wind-down of the celebrations, the marvelous contraption drove onto a Standard Oil flatbed truck, and promptly vanished, never to be heard from again!

Can you reconstruct the missing days in the log of the papers of the day?

So here we have it, a country deeply in debt to the oil mongers, an economy based on oil, a breakthrough technology that has application even (especially) today; taking waste heat and turning it into motion that we all can use, meeting it's demise after driving onto a Standard Oil flatbed truck!

And even more irritating, it's still supressed to this day, nearly 70 years later! I can say that because it's only hearsay, my uncle's voice in my ears; I'm only telling you what my uncle said to me.

Do the above statements radically alter your trust and faith in oil companies? I hope not, just in case I'm sued for defamation (like I can alter a nation's buying habits and their opinions of oil corporations!)

How does it work? -

Phase change.

When water is heated, it expands, slowly swelling in the space it's allowed. Beyond a point, water turns to steam, a gas that occupies about 1600 times the volume held by liquid. If volume is not allowed, pressure results.

Take an ordinary deisel engine, flip it upside down because the liquid results of the contraction of the vapor phase will result in a cold fog and cold water, and you need a way to vent the 'waste' product, COLD WATER.

When air is compressed, it heats up, in modern deisel compressions, over 1000 degrees Farenheit. Replacing the carbonaceous fuel injection with plain water at top dead center after the intake cycle, a properly configured 'endothermic steam engine' will allow the liquid water to absorb the latent heat of the compressed air.

Upon expansion (down stroke) of the piston, superheated water explodes into highly pressurized steam! There's only one problem, the over-all captured cycle will soon condense into a rather powerful suction before the piston reaches the bottom of the stroke. The introduction of the water absorbs the concentrated heat, and that results in a much colder, hence a reduced volume of air at atmospheric pressure.

So here's the secret. Provide a 'break open valve' to 'vent' the vacuum that will occur before bottom dead center! A flapper valve, an actuated valve, whatever is takes to prevent the piston from 'sucking up' to a reverse position in the great cycle of things. That's about the the only real modification to a high compression diesel (other than the fuel) engine!

An ENDOTHERMIC STEAM ENGINE absorbs the surrounding heat, and produces motion, venting COLD as a result of the PHASE CHANGE of matter, in this case, water. And thus an ENDOTHERMIC (absorbs heat) STEAM ENGINE.

Of course, the efficiency of this thing is proportional to the ambient temperature, works great in the desert (or Southern California in the summer), but when the temperature drops, available power will drop until icing will grind the unit to a halt. Obviously not an all weather vehicle, but in the right (especially in a co-generation set-up) places, a decided economic and environmental improvement.

A refrigeration unit that uses this system makes a lot of sense! Either water or freon, or other refrigerant can be used in a closed cycle variant, which recalls another suppressed invention! Really! I saw it one night a few months back on "Strange Universe" about this refrigeration tech who made another endothermic engine using freon or other refrigerant to produce motion from ambient, but after inviting viewers to mail them about their beliefs regarding Government lies to us and supressed inventions, and a promise to publish the results, there's been not another word since! I watched religiously for two weeks without results, and I'm hesitant to ask them why!

Again, as I've said in the other documents you may encounter, prove me wrong! Jump down the digital pipeline and tromp on my arrogance! Be prepared to have me ignore you if the only thing you provide as proof is someone else said thus and such. If you're not fully certain as to how any of this stuff works, ask me specific questions, I'll do my best answer serious explorers.

This thing was discovered many many years ago and was buried!

Let's not let them bury US any more.
